I just heard that a cover featuring my illustration won Magazines Ireland Cover of the Year Award 2017 at the awards ceremony the other night.
This features in tonights exhibition that opens in the Ranelagh Arts Centre. A piece I did for the 1916 Rising Centenary. The top panel is a Scraperboard portrait of James Connolly. Above his head in the recess are hand painted First World War soldiers. Alternating British and German uniforms to tie in with the banner…
Very pleased to able to say I have won a category in the
World Illustration Awards 2016>>
The awards are organised by the Association of Illustrators & The Directory of Illustrators.
This year there were in total 2200 applications from 66 countries. So a truely international competition.
Very pleased to be informed this week that a piece of my work has been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2016.
