Here is my peice that was accepted in to this years RUA>> exhibition. I’ve just noticed my scraperboard appears on their home page, which is an honour. The exhibition is being held in the Ulster Museum>> this year, its really quite a venue. Check out the show some time Friday 15 October 2010 – Sunday…
Here’s are three drawings 20- 25 minutes, done in chalks/pastels
I’ve a piece in this show….. Illustrators Ireland (IGI)>> presents Laundry. 70 of Ireland’s leading illustrators, designers and photographers converge on South Studios on September 29th to air their dirty laundry in public. Throwing a spotlight on all things murky, expect guilty secrets, fetishes, embarrassments and one or two skeletons to fall out of cupboards…
Been away for the past few days so thought I’d better post.
Here’s an image of a sunflower to mark the coming to the end of summer.
Pencil rough for a scraperboard I’m working on.
A mornings work, acrylic on canvas.
20 minute head study, chalk on neutral paper.
Painting done from life, wish I’d had more time to spend on it- just a mornings work.
I find acrylic can dry out too quickly on paper so this was done on canvas.
