I will conduct a life drawing session on the 2nd of November at the Kennedy’s studios.
To have a slight change from standard nudity, the model will have props/costumes etc and strong lighting.
Materials will be limited to charcoal, pastels and chalk on tinted paper, to help the artists focus on good analytical observation, but we will attempt to avoid stiff drawing.
We will deal with proportion, volume, form and lighting.
There will be emphasis on the importance of back up measuring of proportion and angles, so as to get a good representation and an understanding of the dynamics of the human form.
All workshops will run from 10.15am until 4.15pm, with a short morning break (tea / coffee served) and one hour for your own lunch. Workshops are kept small – 9 people maximum. Early booking advisable!
Material required: A list of materials is sent out to all participants before the workshop. You may bring your own or purchase anything you are missing if available at a special discount on the day.
It’s €60 per person
Payment in full or a deposit of €30 required to secure a place. Payment in full is required two weeks before the date of demonstration or workshop.
* Please note all monies non refundable except in the event of demonstration cancellation.
