Eilís O’Sullivan is the author of a remarkable series of letters, which she wrote over a 20-year period from 1931 to 1951 to George Chambers, an English visitor to the Great Blasket.
Following her death, a selection of the letters was published as Letters from the Great Blasket (1978).
