Very pleased to able to say I have won a category in the
World Illustration Awards 2016>>
The awards are organised by the Association of Illustrators & The Directory of Illustration.
This year there were in total 2200 applications from 66 countries. So a truely international competition.
We traveled over to London last week to collect the award and attended the private view of the exhibition in Sommerset House.
Thank you to all the organisers at the AOI for a great night.
I won “Public Realm- Professional” for the piece commissioned by Interpretive Design company Tandem for Cromford Mills / Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Gateway Centre.
The exhibition continues in Sommerset House, London and then tours around the UK for a year.
Dear Sir,
Just to tell you how pleased I am with your illustrations for the novel “The Winter Ghosts” by Kate Mosse. I hoped the writer would require some more illustrations by you in other books and was quite disappointed when I saw the illustrations of poor quality she used instead.
Hope Kate Mosse will consider to have her next books illustrated with your wonderful scraperboards.
With sincere compliments.
