Very pleased to able to say I have won a category in the
World Illustration Awards 2016>>
The awards are organised by the Association of Illustrators & The Directory of Illustrators.
This year there were in total 2200 applications from 66 countries. So a truely international competition.

Very pleased to be informed this week that a piece of my work has been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2016. It was was for- Cromford Mills / Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Gateway Centre Category- Public Realm Professional A link to their web site
I’ve this piece in an exhibition which opens in the Hamilton Gallery, Sligo this evening. It is a group show and each work is based around WB Yeat’s Poem- Easter, 1916 “Hearts with one purpose alone Through summer and winter seem Enchanted to a stone To trouble the living stream.” It is scraperboard mounted on…
Our group show was hung earlier on Tuesday. Thank you to Paul Stuart for the help. The work is really strong and it is very interesting to see the various approaches to drawing/painting the life model.
