Here’s another drawing, a mornings work.
Here is a simple step by step of my scraperboard technique. This is the initial pencil drawing of Gort an Choirce>> Once I’ve transferred it to a piece of black scraperboard>> I begin scraping out the white areas More white is gradually revealed…….. Adjustments made, the piece is now finished.
This was done for the Westend stage adaptation of Ladykillers>> Graham Linehan>> was involved with the script…. It was commissioned as a present for the Producers of the show.

A slightly larger scraperboard than normal of Gort a’Choirce>> seen from the height of the lane above the village. I really enjoyed working on the details in this image as every corner of this view has good memories for me.
