Winter Light Deminishing- Errigal
Watercolour on Arches paper.
I’ve this piece in an exhibition which opens in the Hamilton Gallery, Sligo this evening. It is a group show and each work is based around WB Yeat’s Poem- Easter, 1916 “Hearts with one purpose alone Through summer and winter seem Enchanted to a stone To trouble the living stream.” It is scraperboard mounted on…
Two stages of a scraperboard.
I began this demo as part of National Drawing Day at the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club’s Exhibition last Saturday.
Our group show was hung earlier on Tuesday. Thank you to Paul Stuart for the help. The work is really strong and it is very interesting to see the various approaches to drawing/painting the life model.
