Up painting in Massey’s woods again a few weeks ago. Amazing roots covered in moss on this tree.
Here’s a peice I’ve done for Musical Youth Foundation>> There will be an art event selling our donations which I’ll post more details about nearer the time. A good cause well worth support. Mine is called “Tribute to John Doherty>>“
Was out painting, up in Massey’s Woods. The light was great but still a bit cold this time of year.
Here is a simple step by step of my scraperboard technique. This is the initial pencil drawing of Gort an Choirce>> Once I’ve transferred it to a piece of black scraperboard>> I begin scraping out the white areas More white is gradually revealed…….. Adjustments made, the piece is now finished.
I currently have a small pop up exhibition in The Wine Buff >> The shop is located on the Triangle in Ranelagh. If you like wine it’s a really great store. The work will be on display there till January, please call in if you are passing.
